ASUS’s new ZenBook S is thin and light without skimping on specs

Thinner than a MacBook, lighter than an XPS, 100% looks like an ASUS. The new ASUS ZenBook S leverages a confluence of technologies to create a laptop that is balances power and portability in a way that was unfathomable just a few years ago. It barely weighs 2.3 pounds and measures just a hair over half and inch thick, but it still packs the latest processors, more than enough RAM, and enough battery to easily get through a whole day of work and play. Let’s run down the specs. We’re looking at Intel’s 8th Gen processors in a Core i5 or i7 variety, a 13.3-inch 4K or FHD display with slim 5.9mm bezels, Intel HD Graphics 620, a pair of Thunderbolt 3 ports, up to 16GB of RAM, and a full terabyte of PCIe SSD storage — all in a thin-and-light metal unibody package.
